Are InkBird heater controllers haunted?

Second time this has happened… I get a low temp alarm, so log into the InkBird app. I usually have temp 1 at 77.5 and temp 2 at 78.0, however temp 1 was changed to 76.8 and temp 2 was 1.2. That said, there are either ghosts or hackers messing with my settings. Or something else, just don’t know what. Junk programming?

This ever happen to anyone else?

Every time I was using inkbirds I had some random issue even though I had the temp set between .5-1f difference. I ended up getting a ranco/aqua logic unit and couldnt be happier with it, does cost quiet a bit more but I just didnt want to chance it.

Inkbirds can be "flighty".

They are inexpensive pieces of equipment. IMO, they perform and have a track record similar to their cost.

If you need or want something more reliable then get a Ranco. They are still not too expensive and usually last decades.
