Are inverts more sensitive to copper than corals?

Hey guys! Cycled a new tank, which I used to use for fish QT but now using it for corals.
I used to use copper in it. I ran cupramine then washed the whole tank. And now I’ve left two bags of cupramine in there all the time.

I’ve recently added some LPS and SPS frags who have been there for 3 days. I drop acclimated for 30mins then iodine dipped then for 15mins. Ca=430, dkH=11.5, and Mg=1340. Running cheap Chinese LED lights cause it’s only the QT.

They’re doing well, opening up completely which I wasn’t surprised with because my first time with LPS. But I found 2 dead bristleworms in my tank. Why would this be? I’m confused as to what’s killing bristleworms but not the corals?? Is it trace copper?

When you say you've left bags in there, I'm assuming you left some sort of copper absorbing media?

Have you done a copper test to see if there is any trace of copper? The worms could survive copper anyway.

Yup cuprisorb is on there. Copper tests reads 0 on a Hanna meter.

Oh they can? Ok that’s fine then, I guess as long as the corals are ok I don’t need to worry, maybe they died during transit and they fell out of the coral bases and I never saw them or something.
