Just received a thermostat for new office tank I'm setting up:

Just as I'm opening the package it occurred to me the probe is metal. Is it reef safe? I'm using a similar one in my other 4 month old tank, and seems no issues so far. Curious if the metal probe could be an issue long term.

Thanks

As long as it's stainless steel. Also the purity of the(zinc or tin[?] content) stainlessness. It should be good to go.
