Are milli's easy to keep? (quick answer if possible... bidding on corals ;-) )

Bidding on several milli corals on ebay and have a couple of QUICK questions..

1) Are they easy to keep in a tank?

2) lighting and placement?

I have a 28 gallon JBJ nano with a reef radiance dm 132 e LED fixture (144 watts I think), an aquamaxx HOB 1 skimmer. Right now I have a mix of LPS, Zoa's, a few softies, and a few moni's (they are the newest)

yes, anything is easy just have the right conditions. that light will grow it fine. you should have no problems. good luck!!!

They normally are easy but I had my issues with them too. Keep your parameters steady and you will have no problem

If the tank is shallow it can probably go anywhere. But acclimation is key with lighting

How long have you been reefkeeping? How long have you had the montis? How are they doing? What are you doing to keep parameters stable. All sps are considered to be an expert level coral to keep.

Easy relative to most sps. I place mine mid to high with lots of flow, seem to get brighter colors.

If you have to ask if they are easy , you're probably not ready for acropora. Milies are more forgiving then other acros, but still not for novice. In small tank like yours it is hard to keep parameters stable for acroporas but many people do it. I would start off with a birdnest and few montiporas to see how they do in your tank before spending $$$ for acros.

I find milli's grow better in high flow.
