Are my Clownfish on the stupid side or normal.

So I have read about CF actually taking food and feeding the Anemone that is hosts but mine do the opposite. I feed meaty food such as shrimp and they pull it out. They don't eat it but treat is as if it's invading. What gives?

Any suggestions?

They are doing their job. An anemone that is hosted by two clown fish most likely doesn't need to be fed. The clown fish are feeding it.

I hope so but honestly I have never seen them offer up anything for food to the anemone.

Every time they poop they do it in the anemone. I know,I was trying not to be that graphic.
