I cultured this phyto for them and filled about half the bottle with saltwater and about another 1/4 with nice dark green phyto and 1,000+ pods from @Reef Nutrition. Nothing but good things to say about the pod but 5 days or more later the water is still dark green. Are my pods not able to eat the Nano? I don't have the resources to breed multiple phyto so I need to give them one or the other or a mix of two at most but I'm puzzled as to why the water isn't getting lighter like folks say it's supposed to?

It's possible that the phytoplankton is currently reproducing faster than the copepods can eat it

I thought this may be the issue so I removed it from the light a couple days ago so it only gets 8 hours now. Certainly wouldn't be a bad problem to have as it'll be great when the population explodes I am just worried. I guess lesson learned next time I'll feed less. The other two are the same.
