Are my corals dying?

A couple of my zoas turned white and look weird im confused.

Those are pineapple sponges on the edge of your zoa frag.

Harmless filter feeders but i would scrape them off so they dont overgrow the zoas. Might be why they are closed too.

I thought the sponges were zoas that were closed lol
