I got my ICP test results a little while back and while I was somewhat hoping they would point to an obvious issue, I do not think this is the case. However, I would love for someone with more experience in these matters to have a look at my results and propose some ways forward, whether this is water chemistry related or perhaps I need to look elsewhere.
Quick summary (ICP test results attached as well)
- Low Fluorid (0.58 mg/L)
- Very High Silicon (739.4 ug/L)
- Low Iodine (7.82 ug/L)
- Low Molybdenum (3.07 ug/L)
- Undetectable Manganese
- Low Vanadium (0.43 ug/L)
Main tank issue:
- 3 acan frags and 1 acan colony all died around the same time
- In the last year 3 LPS (wall hammer, Torch, branching hammer) all died
- There is a possibility of too low par, although especially the acans have done okay for months/year. Yesterday I lowered my lights a few inches and I am hoping to save up for other lights in the next few months.
Thanks and I'd be happy to provide more info.
