@FRANK GRAZIANO , I'm truly sorry you feel that way. I gravitated from other forums to R2R because I found just the opposite....a friendly, welcoming forum with tons of knowledge. I'd like to suggest you give us a second chance. We really aren't a bunch of bad guys.

As far as deleting your account, we don't do that. If you ultimately decide to leave, your account will simply fade into oblivion. But again, we'd like to see you stay.

Ohhh that’s right I remember seeing that somewhere....Interested to see if chose to attempt at having success with starfish. Heck I’ll find out myself. Mine are perfect. In fact so perfect nobody else even deserves to know what they are. Man it must hurt to be that good

Family argue all the time! The strong emotions show you still care. But in my experience Frank ain't wrong. At least a good portion of the time.

I only post after I can't find an answer doing a search. I look through the first 3 pages of results. I'm not gonna read 20+ pages worth of result threads. If I don't get an answer by result page 3, then I feel that the question needs to be readdressed.

Sometimes I get an answer to my post, sometimes I don't. I'm grateful for the help I do get, however it can be very frustrating watching your favorite coral or whatever slowly die while the only response you get is "what are your parameters" when your parameters were giving with the question in the first post. I also have gotten a lot of "sorry I can't help" responses. I know they care but why post at all then? Just gets me excited that I may have gotten an answer just to be let down. Again I am grateful for the support I do get and know that sometimes it takes a while for someone that can help you to actually get to your thread or that there are some things we just don't know yet. I also think we as a community could do better.

I think this is where the tags come in. Newer members don't know this right away though. So I question it's value for newer members. I also feel it's a little redundant given that we have SO MANY specialized forum groups. I'm trying to just check the forums that I know I can help with daily. If I see a new post, I read it. The algae, macro, and invert forums aren't exactly the most active areas of this site so they are easy for me to keep up with.

Checking daily has proven to be more helpful than asking questions in that it is answering FUTURE questions I don't know I'll ask yet. I can follow other's issues to gain knowledge in preparation for when it happens to me. I plan on being in this hobby forever so I figure it's WHEN not IF.

Is that still the policy with GDPR? I think R2R is US based but allowing EU members who can pay for accounts may require R2R to allow those users to delete their accounts and data to avoid foreign lawsuits. I am not lawyer and this not advice, I just know that part of my own website's compliance is allowing customers access and control of their customer data.
