Are my Xenia coral dead?

I have a 30g tank, recently moved about two months ago, my tank for the past couple weeks has been battling cyno and is being treated with chemi-clean but my coral closed up about 4 weeks ago. I'm afraid it's not going to come back to life help!

Sorry, thats a bummer. Did you do the water changes? they advise on the directions? Also added air to the system will help.

just curious, but why? Because they spread so fast?

yep,,yep,,they spread so fast to the point of many people regretting it,,more people regret adding them to their tank..youll be surprised the aggravation youll go through to get your tank back...just my opinion.. each to their own i guess

I don't think they're dieing, but they are extremely grumpy right now. Once the Chemi-clean has run it's course they'll probably bounce back to normal.

every thing dies.
very low nutrints will kill them quick. I could prob test nutrints even less now and just use my xenia(ok I actually do )
I've been pretty successful keeping the population down using flow and nutrints.

xenia you can starve and blow till they shrink to nothing. I "killed" some GSP on a frag. scraped it. tossed the plug in the sump for a year. Fragged a gaggle of zoas put the mon the now "empty" and "seasoned" plug and a couple months later the gsp started to overtake the zoa's.

H202 makes my xenia do just that.. the larger the dose the more they get mad... but after a week they bounce back.
