So I picked up a couple of zoa frags a couple of weeks ago. All was well and beautiful until they stopped being well and beautiful. They don't like to open anymore and the water chemistry is spot on. Everything else in my tank is doing great. I noticed this a couple of these little spiky critters hanging out on my zoas and knew they had to be the culprit. Am I dealing with anolid nudibranch? Take a look at this video and let me know some opinions on what it is and how to treat it before my zoas are invert poop.

Yikes. That's a zoa eating nudi. Best get to treating.

Edit: I would start with Bayer dips on all of your zoas. You're gonna have to be on top of this for a while. The dips don't kill the eggs.

Top right on the big zoa looks like eggs they are kinda a spiral pattern on the zoa polyp you can gently scrape that off good luck it's something we have all had at one time or another me a few times lol

sux the ones you can see out with a turkey baster. scrape off eggs and monitor and repeat. most time i get, i guess, an adult and once gone its the end of see anymore.
