Are Neptune Apex systems helpful?

This is on my phone. I can remotely turn on or off equipment if I need too. If I make a change or do some work and leave a doser on or something I can see something is wrong from work or out at dinner and shut it off. My alerts will tell me if something is wrong also, or even if power is removed if you have it set up correctly.

It is the single best investment I have made on this system and the reason why I have not had any major failures in the year I've had it.

The only issue I had with my Apex, and I have the WiFi unit, is early in the units use, I would lose connection to where both Apex Local and Fusion would not connect and report the tank parameters. I solved this by first installing a WiFi amplifier, an Apple Airport Express, near my tank and Apex unit; this enabled the Apex unit to connect to my home network better. Then I rebooted the Apex unit by holding in the reboot button for 30 seconds. I had to go through the full setup again after this reboot, but luckily I have not lost connection since.
