Are schedule 40 unions interchangeable with schedule 80

Im changing my plumbing, will the bottom portion of a scheduel 80 fit into a scheduel 40 union. I dont want to have to cut and reglue. I just need to use the bottom part so i can quickly change for my new plumbing. If i have to recut how long do i have to wait before the glue is safe. I will not have much time to wait. I would plan on only reglueing the union after the bottom portion has had time has had sufficiently cure.

No. You have to use the same kind. You can find those at Home Depot

Can you have water running through a freshly glued pvc joint within maybe 30 mins. Im considering just cutting it and adding a new union. Are all scheduel 40 unions standard. If so i would not have to cut anything
