Are there any Bangaii Carindal experts on here?

I have some concerns about my female Bangaii still not eating after releasing eggs over the weekend. This was a mateless release. she didnt eat for two days prior and still hasnt (so getting close to a week) I'd really like to chat with someone on here that has a lot of experience with this kind of fish and discuss some behaviors and things I'm seeing, in case any of it is concerning.

I'm not a Cardinal expert, but you could try and feed it some garlic enriched food. Fish go crazy for garlic

I will say that I've attended talks by Dr. Vagelli of The Center of Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium (Camden Aquarium) and his expertise is Bangaii. Not sure if he's on this site, but do remember from one of his talks that Bangaii only live 3 to 4 years or so. Could be that your Bangaii is a senior citizen.

Thanks.. I've wondered about the age of her. She is what I would consider large. I got her when I purchased my tank second hand about 5 months ago and the previous owner had the tank for about a year so I wouldn't think she is end of life cycle old, but you never know. I think it is odd that this is the first time I have seen her release eggs since having her if this is a thing, as Jay told me on a different thread that cardinal eggs are too large for them to absorb. I watch my fish very closely everyday, so I am pretty sure I would have noticed. I've got so many different symptoms happening with other fish in my tank right now that I cant wrap my head around what if anything to try to treat her with. I was hoping that the not eating was just part of the egg release cycle. However, I have been chatting with someone else on Humblefish who breeds and he says his female eats before and after... :/ other than acting skittish when I get near the tank, the not eating is the only other "symptom" she is displaying.
Also, She has some clear tissue (not a lot) still attached to her vent. It looks like it was part of the egg sack I'm wondering if this can become infected.

Mateless egg release is kind of an emergency procedure to get rid of the eggs. In many cases, the fish will eat them herself. It may help to add a male.

Thanks! Can I ask what you means by an emergency procedure to get rid of the eggs.... meaning something is wrong?
She did eat a little for the first time this morning before lights came on and then some more during my evening feed so I am hoping we are headed in the right direction. I’ll post a video if things take a turn for the worse.

Hey! So I’m back to being concerned. Cardinal nipped at food for a couple days but now she is back to just ignoring it. It’s been about 4 days since I’ve seen her even nip at food let alone take anything in. Appetite never really returned after laying her eggs. Here is a link of her right after feedining. Really there are no behaviors off except not eating. All other fish are fine and there has been nothing new added. Maybe you can notice something in the video.
