Are there any side effect when switching dosing product brand?

Hi everyone. As mention on the title I plan to switch Redsea foundation A B C to Fauna Marine Balling with trace elements. So when I switch dosing brand like this, are there any bad side effect to my tank?

First of all. Wow. Your tank looks amazing.
I don't think there are bad side effects with changing brands but start slow and in small amounts when you change brands just incase so you don't shock the corals.

Back when companies told us exactly what was in this stuff we could switch no problemo but yeah like clownfish said you should be fine if you slowly switch over.

Thank you for your recommendation. As because of growth of my coral, it start to consume more and more especially alkalinity so I decide to change from Redsea as it price so high compare to Fauna Marine but let see their quality first.

Yeah, I have gone to there website and checked, especially their dosing instructions. So hopefully, everything going be okay.

One of the main things you may notice when switching between brands of 2/3 parts is the pH effect. Some raise pH, and some do not. Some may even slightly lower it.

That difference visually impacts what you see when the alk parts hit the water (higher pH versions show temporary cloudiness) and may impact both the daily demand for alkalinity, and the coral growth rate.
