Are there comparable products to All For Reef?

Looking for a single dosing solution for my WaterBox 60.2 that will be an LPS dominant mixed reef. Pros/cons to AFR would be great, as well as any other experiences/suggestions on other products!

Kalkwasser, dirt cheap, can be used in ATO or Kalk stirrer.
If your evaporation is low, you will not get enough Ca/Alk.

Pros are both products have Alk, Calc and trace elements. You can dose it once a day by hand, Alk is released over time.

Cons, no pH boost and some element/ components might get out of balance long term so adjustment might be required. Mainly referring to Alk vs. Calc.

When I used All for Reef it was very simple system. Maybe too easy, not much to mess with. So if you like to tweak things it might not be the ideal solution.

I tweak with too much, and trying a non-tweaking model on this tank!

I like to do different approaches on different tanks for experiences. For example, all my tanks have different lights, different species, different filtration, etc… For this tank, I want to use an all in one dosing additive.

So those are the big 2 Im assuming? Any idea how they stack against each other?

The two I know off. I suspect the only difference between them is the actual trace elements mix.

I would pick the one that is readily available to you. Also at the moment All For Reef is in powder form so you can mix your own and save some $$$. Shipping water is not cheap.

I am running AFR, but you will need to dose the other big Three. Each tank takes them up at different rates. So I dose AFR to my lowest one. For me it's alk. The other two will have to be added to keep the tank stable. I only have to add ever three days to play catch up. In a 100 gallon system, 10 ppm mag and 15 ppm calcium.
