Are there ever sales on gear?

Hi all,

Just getting ready to do some purchasing for my first ever reef tank and I was wondering if any retailers (either online or B&M) have regular sales that I should be waiting for?

Obviously we all know this is an expensive hobby, so I'm looking to save $ where I can.

I'm also open to used (LFS) and clearance options as well.

Most sales are uncommon, especially on i brands like Ecotech and Kessil. The best times are Black Friday and Christmas though.

I bird told me BRS is having a nice sale on the 16th. Keep an eye out
