I ordered a nice frag of "Halloween Acan Echinita" from Unique Corals today. It was small (1") and relatively cheap so decided to order it.
Later in the day, I saw UC Post an awesome 2 inch frag labelled "Ultra Acan Enchinita". I decided to splurge on it for doing well in classes this semester at nearly $100 when tax was included.
I reviewed my separate orders and noticed that these two frags look very similar, yet they were labelled differently ("Halloween Acan Echinita" and "Ultra Acan Enchinita"). There are some very subtle differences between their colors and pattern, but Im not quite sure they were labelled correctly. They both look similar enough to come from a single parent colony, but I ordered them hours apart and didnt compare their pictures until after purchasing them.
Can anybody give me their opinion on this? Will they grow to become differentiable or are they just mislabeled?
"Halloween" Echnita (1 ", $39)
Ultra Acan Enchinita (2", $85)
Thanks for the help!
