Just got them in the mail and the bags smell and look polluted. I think the skin came off of some. Is it just bleached and shocked

Yea they're done. That sucks. I had a package cone today FedEx delivered at 6pm when it was suposed to be delivered by 1030. And the driver said to me, dont bother filing a claim bc they're not guaranteeing delivery as of today. We filed a claim anyway, it wasnt the regular driver and I think they were just trying to cover their butts... well see. I had a total loss too. 7 frags toast.

What a jerk. Who tells someone that? I get it's the holidays, but still. Glad I'm having my shipments shipped out past the Holidays and new year...

That's exactly what I though too. I dont even think its true. I think bc they're a sub contractor if they dont fulfill the guarentee they pay for it maybe. I dont know maybe I'm wrong. But I feel like I was just told that to try to keep me from filing a claim. But too late we filed one as soon as it was 3 hours late. Lol funny part was she tried to drop it by my door and run. And i opened the door just as she was throwing the box onto my porch(from about 4 ft away)

But atleast the seller is taking care of me. great dude. But were gonna wait till January to reship. Lol

FedEx is not doing a good job delivering package this days. Yesterday I was waiting 2 boxes ( wwc & tsa) and both arrived until 6pm.
Glad both companies did a good job with packing.

Dang all bad just like my 6 corals

Just a quick observation. The seller should have hold these frags until they healed/started to encrust. Unless you agreed to them shipping right away.
Those frag plugs are super clean. Looks like cut glued had shipped before the glue was cured.

Nope this is from a big company not a fellow reefer

I try not to order fish or coral during the holiday season just because of delays weather, etc.. Add insult to injury, a driver like that. If it's a good deal, I try to work with seller to hold until after the holidays. It's tough enough on the poor livestock to be shipped but to sit in a freezing truck or warehouse, I'ld rather wait and/or pay more when they stand a better chance of survival.

Porch pirates hit hard this time a year.
I have some corals on hold right now because of it and allowing time to heal.

Yeah the sales are crazy but the one heat pack was stupid

I learned a couple of years ago shippers don't care if it's live or if they delay an overnight delivery. Ordered some "Black Friday frags" were over-nighted - yet SAT at UPS for 2 days.

Yeah ups delivered it late usually it's a 1030 am delivery but it came around 6pm

I would not order any boxes of coral around this time of the year. Huge risk no matter who your getting it from.
