Are these AI prime settings okay or....

Hey everyone
I have a 20 gallon AIO JBJ tank
And this is my light schedule
I’m mainly gonna have softies and LPS and an anemone , are These settings over kill ? Also attached some pics of the corals iv had under these lights for 2 months I feel like if I move them up the scape any more I can potentially bleach them

ime yea I use to use mine over a 15 gallon and I accidentally bleached stuff when I ran them to high, I would aim for more 70% ish max for your blues

but then again your tank looks deep so it could work out so I would maybe turn on acclimation mode for a month or two to get it up to 100 or something

Yeah sorry the tank is 16 inches deep and the like is 8 inches above water I tried brs AB+ but my zoas wouldn’t open

yea i would drop the percentage to like 50% see and see if that helps then acclimate to 70-80% if you have corals that need it, but if they do open up at your current light settings then don’t change a thing

what corals do you plan on keeping

Yeah the corals in the pics above have been under this light schedule for 2 months and they open my zoas , hammers etc but there middle /bottom of tank I’ll lower it to 70% and see what happens .

ok yea those are pretty much medium light corals so if you want to keep them high in the tank then I would lower it some

I have a nuvo fusion 40g. This is what I running. I just changed it up. I have acclimation on at 50% for 3 weeks.

pretty much the same corals you have. I changed it up as I've researched and my zoas were living, just not thriving.

Nice ! I’ll definitely lower it my aquascape is kinda tall and it’s an island so hopefully when I lower it I’m able to place corals over the rock structure

this is what i have over my 40b so far so good, i did a lot of research on spectrum and decided to go with a lot of green cause that’s what’s in the ocean and increased amount of red, so far so good since october

Mine is also. I didnt want a "flat" scape that is all at the bottom

I then can place a higher light corral at the tops.

What is scape looking like ?

This is easy, if your zoas are opened up, decently puffed and healthy, you're good. If the light is too much they retract or stay tiny and close to the rock. If it's not bright enough they swell up and their stalks elongate to try to get as much light as they can. I've been using AI for years now from a 10 gallon Nuvo to my current 65 gallon Aqueon. Zoas are awesome par indicators because they are so reactive to the light. if you're happy with the settings you have don't change it. 2 months running should tell you if they're happy or not.
