Are these bad and what are they? Worms

Hello, I was just looking around for my nightly check and I found these 3 worms in my return area. I haven't seen them in the DT yet. Are they bad? Does anyone know what they are? Where they are crawling I can not reach so I am a little worried. If they are bad does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I'm sorry for the poor quality on the pics...all I have is my cell phone. Thank-you for your help!!!

My best guess is bristle worms. (Our overflows look very similar: tons of pineapple sponges and those filter feeders =P)

They look red, are they? If so my guess would be Fire Worms. Look very much like Bristle Worms only red in color.
But I'm not 100% on this as I really can't see them that well.

Thank you all for the replies...I think the are the fire worms. I'm going to cut back on my feeding and hope that helps get rid of them. I haven't seen them I'm the dt and I'll watch for them to move away from the side so I can take them out.

They are not that bad they eat detritus just don't want an over abundance

I know this is an extremely late post but if you decide to take them out, best not use your hands. I hear they can inflict a pretty painful sting if a bristle gets in you.

I can't tell if they are the fireworms or not. If they are, they are dangerous predators that need to be removed immediately. If not, they are harmless, even beneficial. Just don't get bristled. I hear it HURTS.

after my whole arm being numb one entire night from my frogspawn, and a sting that convulsed my hand and almost broke my halide i would advise to never put your hand in your tank unprotected lol i;e gloves!

Good to know. Do torches sting people too?
