I was cleaning out my canister filter and noticed a ton of these on my carbon bag. Are theses good or bad

I do too. In my sump. I think it’s a type of copepod. good part of your biological filter

Thanks for the reply. I also have a bunch on my sand bed. You can see them scatter when hermit crab walks around

Yea they eat detritus. How long have you had the tank? After a year you should have enough to support a mandarin

Tank is 4 1/2 months old
