You have egg masses you need to scrape and seal.
Dips dont kill eggs, dont do bayer and coral Rx, one or the other.
Thanks! I didn't want to take the chance so I just threw those pieces out.

Admittedly looking out for these kind of things is part of my job IRL when putting corals through QT systems at the farm I work at.
While I have a hard time euthanizing/giving up on an animal, the condition those corals were in and the risk factor for other acropora in the tank, Id say that was a wise move.
Wish the best for you OP, be vigilant with your other acropora. also I have found that just because bite marks are not present on an acro, doesn't mean its egg free, in really healthy systems/colonies with light infestations, bite marks will heal before you notice them, therefore you may think the colony is "clean" but there possibly is eggs masses on it, if you have trouble seeing things that small invest the 17$ to buy a cheap pair of jewelers spectacles.

You’re still planning to dip every coral though right? Need to dip every acro every week until you are past certain they are all gone. I dealt with them years ago and weekly dips for six weeks worked. If you have a few frag racks it’s pretty easy to just keep them on the racks and put the whole rack in the dip.

I dipped my Aussie echinata a couple times in Bayer when I first got it and it did fine. I really feel like Bayer is the easiest on acros. I usually dip for about 8 mins and shake the corals well before removing them from the dip

echinata, carduus and other bottle brush acropora are usually okay with Bayer, its ones like like loripes, caroliniana, surashoni, granulosa etc etc that tend to be more Bayer sensitive
IME, use melefix on them or shorten dip times to only 2-3 min and baste aggressively

Since the Bayer came before the frag plugs and rack, I figured I might as well dip em.
I also noticed they're still moving. Shouldn't they all be dead? Did I not use enough Bayer? I dipped them all for about 10 minutes.

...and since these little jerks did a number on my tank, I figured I'd return the favor. I emptied the water out with them still sticking to the container and dropped a droplet of coral rX on em. Please don't call PETA.
Six sips is perfect. After four you should be clean but two extra weeks to be sure for most people.
