Yeah, not the greatest picture...
I do notice that they do no dissipate into the water column at night times
Please help me!!
Are Dino’s easy to transfer from tank to tank? I have two reef tanks and they currently share water change tools.

I found this video on youtube. These are what I have... Can anyone ID??!

Its never ending that is for sure. I just plopped a UV in my tank tonight, I will let you know what works for me as we have the same.
Good deal! I just started Vibrant (2 doses in 2 weeks) and I think it may be working. Vibrant in conjunction with manual removal on weekly water changes and raising po4 and no3 as suggested.

I personally think I am dealing with amphidinium, it coolia. My dinos do not go into the water column at night. The movement and shape of these was more indicative of amphidinium than coolia to me.
If you think you are dealing with Amphidinium you make want to reassess your technique. I actually read that Dino-x and blackouts are affective against amph... I’m going to try out Vibrant and nutrients.

So I thought mine was the amphidinum too because it's only on my sand bed. However after getting a microscope I was told it was coolia but it also kind of resembles prorocentrum because they are not really perfectly round like the coolia and they have all those dark lines.i did vibrant it killed o species on the rocks easily. I did dino following and it eradicated all dinos for 1 1/2 weeks and then came right back in the process it killed my montipora and torch. I under dosed too. So now I am spraying them In to the water column from the sand bed with a Turkey baster while running uv with a 3 day blackout. First gets crossed that will suspend them in the water long enough to kill them.

I also have raised my nutrients. Keep me updated on the vibrant. I still have a half a bottle i could dose.

Sounds like a plan. Remember that dinos can be toxic. It may not be the product you are dosing that kills the corals, but rather the dinos. Just a thought!
I will keep you up to date on the Vibrant for sure!
