Are these copepods??? Please help

I just noticed these little red bugs. They look like copepods but I've only ever had the white ones. Please help?

Ok I picked up a mandarin don't if it'll eat these but I've been sucking the ones out I see with a 1/8 inch tube. It seems they are currently in one small area of the tank so I'll keep sucking them out until the disappear. Don't really want to use chemicals at this point
