Are these eggs of some sort?

Saw these attached under a piece of LR and just swaying in the flow. White. Looks to be like bunched up white thread. It is not on the glass or I would think they were snail eggs.

Looks like snail eggs to me. But kind of hard to see on my phone. Maybe I could get a better look if I were on my computer

Thanks - looked up some pics and that's what they are. It's weird that they aren't on the glass like 99% of the other photos. Mine are just tethered to a rock.
