Are these feather dusters????

These white looking warm things came on this live rock I purchased months ago. I didn't think anything of them as they looked like they had dried up and where rock hard. However doing a overview of the take I noticed that tucked way up in the rock there are a few that are alive.

I hoping that they are a feather duster and not a issue other white I have no idea how I'm going to deal with them.
