Hello I'm new and am trying to get a list of fish together for my 65g tank. I have an LED light and a skimmer and eventually do want to get corals however for right now I am going to keep fish until I get the hang of everything. I currently have live sand and 60 pounds of live rock in the tank with 23 small hermit crabs and 4 strawberry crabs. My wish list is below. I don't want to over populate and I would like some color with some personality. I appreciate any feedback suggestions.

2 Bangaii Cardinals
1 Lawnmower Blennie
1 Starry Blennie
1 Flame Hawkfish
2 Clownfish
1 Long Tentacle Anemone
1 Marble Starfish

You may have issues with the blenny pairing IMO. Like most fish, they can be territorial toward similar species. Also, don't rush on the anemone. Let your tank mature for a while before you try it. They are not easy to care for and clowns don't need them to be happy at all. There are many corals that can be used as alternatives that won't require as much work if you like the look of clowns rolling in tentacles (and who doesn't). Maybe try a nice duncan coral like my clowns host. Easy to care for and won't eat your other fish (extra bonus). Good luck

I agree about the blennies. They will have similar territories and similar body shapes and therefore may fight. They also have similar color schemes so maybe swap one of them out for something like a royal gramma or one of the smaller dottybacks. That way you can get a splash of color and some personality too.

Yea on the Blennies i thought i try it and they looked totally different and they still picked at each other but how are thos strawberry crabs

Thank-you all for the feedback. I don't want any problems soI'm going to take your feedback and stick with one Blennie to be safe. I looked a little more and am considering a Green Clown Goby instead of the Starry Blennie...thoughts?

I originally got 2 of the strawberry crabs and then a week later I went and got 2 more. I really didn't think I would like them but they are interesting to watch. They are only out at night. When my moon lights turn on they start to come out and the first few nights if one of my dogs walked by or I moved to fast they would hide again. Now they stay out when the dogs walk by or I go over to sit by the tank and this weekend after all the lights went out I watched them come out and go around on the rocks and they seemed to explore more around the tank which I was happy about. It's also fun to try and find their hiding places during the day.
