I bought a what I believable is a Goni from a lfs it was on the discount rack for 10 bucks so I took it took it home and dipped it this is what I found there so small I needed to take a picture of them under a magnifier glass. They did fall in the dip but still were swimming around .

Different subject, but were the polyps on your goniopora fully extended at the LFS? Or have they extended once you got them home?

Just for future reference, steer away from gonioporas that you do not see fully extended. Goniopora are tough to begin with, and buying one that is not looking healthy from the start is a high risk. It's hard to get them to recover from this point because if it doesn't extend its polyps it won't be able to eat. Although they are photosynthetic, they need to be fed or it will slowly decline.

It looks like it's going to make a comeback. Nice $10 buy. At least if it doesnt make it, you know you gave it a fighting chance and TLC before it died. :)
