I just got an order from LA, besides the DOA which is so frustrating , a convict tang bag appears to be infested with dead flukes. Please tell me this is something else? Idk what they are?

Are they moving? Doesn't look like flukes to me. I think flukes are generally clear and hard to see in saltwater.

Take some out with a dropper and squirt in to a glass full of fresh water. If they turn opaque, then flukes.

They don't look like flukes. flukes look like sesame seeds. Are they clinged to the bag or free floating in the water?

That is some very bad practice. As if they could not see that type of outbreak while packaging.

They are free floating, the bag has been sitting so now they are settled to the bottom, they are easily stirred up. There could not have been that many flukes on one fish no? There are hundreds if not thousands floating around. I just can’t figure out what they would be? Looks like bribe shrimp almost but like seed looking

I would guess it's either poo if the fish has been eating nori recently, or it's flakes of dried out nori. Just a guess :)

Likely not. I believe it is food or poop expelled from fish who is terrified in the bag.
A freshwater dip will allow flukes to fall off and appear as Crabs said 0 sesame seeds
