In the first pic I have two critters I'd like to identify. For the red circle, the closest thing I could find in the sticky thread is a hydroid. Does that sound right? If so, my plan is to just let it do its thing since hydroids appear to be harmless. I don't think I have a good enough photo to ask about the one in the yellow circle, and I didn't even know it was there until I took the photo and drew the red circle. It almost looks like the beginnings of some aptasia but I'll have to try and get a better shot. I did use Revive and do a freshwater dip on the frag...

In the 2nd pic, I have no idea what these guys are. The tank is just a few weeks old now, and the haitian live rock came from the LFS who had it in a tub for 6 months. They were not there for the first week or two, just now showed up. I don't know if they have grown that fast or if it took them that long to come out of the rock, I have about 6-8 of them popping out of the rock. Any ideas?

could be hydroids... could be the beginning of a blue clove polyp infestation :)
keep an eye on it. if they start to turn purple/blue decide if you want to have them potentially take over your tank.
if they are hydroids, i don't think that type will cause any problems. i've seen them pop up, and disappear over time.

edit, just noticed you asked about the yellow circle... sorry picture too small to have an opinion on that one.

second picture looks like briopsys. you should try to get rid of it before it becomes a problem.

Yellow - possible aiptasia image not clear
Red - possible feather duster
Algae is definitely bryopsis, don’t pull it out as it’s just going to make it grow in other parts of the tank, if only in small areas try hidrogen peroxide if in more areas maybe a sea lettuce slug or the chemical way fluconzole.

Thanks guys, I picked up fluconzole this morning to deal with the briopsys, and I'll keep an eye on the progress of whatever is on the zoa plug.
