Are these killing my snails?

I noticed one of my snails had these things all over it a few weeks back. I’ve had the same 6 snails since I started the tank over a year ago. This last week I’ve lost 3 snails. They look like little hermit crab babies...or grains of rice.

The picture is a bit blurry but I think you have Pyramidellid snails. Look these up on line. They do parasitize other molluscs

Pyramid snail removal tips.

You can siphon some off using hard air tube piping connected to airless flexible tubing just like a vacuum. Intermittently do this so you are not constantly moving the clam.

Don’t have any clams. Do they affect corals at all? I’ll start siphoning them out with water changes. Thanks

No only clams and snails.
