Are these LEDS any good for Coral?

Just getting into keeping basic Zoas, frogspawn, just basically beginner corals

would these LEDS be any good? says
The fluval 3000-25000k/18watt lights? would these be a good start for Coral keeping???

These are very basic lighting might work on a shallow tank with zoa's but not good for much else.

Have anything against t5s? I got a quad set new off eBay for under $50 that fits a 20g long.

I like t5s but isn't the heat from them a bit much? So I've heard but I have no idea cause I've never had them yet, I plan on buying led lights, right now my flower coral is doing good, flowing great and looms great and fully extended than he was in the fish store, my anemone however isn't having a good day. I don't seem to have gd luck with anemones and may try to take him back and get a trade but I don't know if they would do that lol..
My shrimp won't leave it alone neither he's dramatic and thinks he's starving...

I'm gonna get some low light coral frags like mushrooms and zoa's my tank isn't very tall so my normal lights are okay for now, but do plan on upgrading once I get a spare tank I have sold

With the cost of those petco lights you could get a decent used led light

The aqua sky light wont do much good but those marine and reef 2.0 lights are great on 12" deep tanks no doubt

Mine is about 14-16inch deep, its a 40breeder

Anyone know how much live rock I could out in before it'd wanna crack? Got 25lbs now

if you gonna go LED just get a Orbit LED strip
or get a SB Reef lights

If you get the orbit, you can at least do lps and some sps. About 130 new. They always pop up used.

The orbit isn't good for a tank deeper than a foot, they need more intensity.

Well its not great. But definitely better than the one the op was looking at. You can grow lps at 21 inches down with the current, and some sps. SOME at half to top. I have the current on a 36. Acans wide open on bottom, montipora extended at half way. Again it's not great, black box would be better. But current is kinda easy to use an plug and play. And we're looking at cheap here lol.

I would look into the SB reef lights if you are on a budget for lighting. They are pretty good lights for a fraction of the price of the high end LEDs.

I had the Sky for accents on one of my tanks and I hated them. The fluval sea products aren't that bad though I use one on my pico tank.

the marine and reef 2.0 would be perfect for that depth , by the time you add your sand rock ect , you will have a great tank ! just dont expect to keep demanding sps and your golden , check out the diodes and spectrum these put out and , my tank is a testament so, happy reefing whatever you choose !
