Hello everyone, I’ve had this 65 gl tank going since last June and it has been doing good and recently my corals have been acting very weird. I did testing just today and my levels are, MAG: 1460, ALK:3.0/8.4, CAL:500+. How would I bring down the MAG and CAL without affecting the ALK? Also could this be making my corals bleach and not extend as well for others?

Its possible its the salt mix you are using, causing this. You could try to bring up your alk a bit to be more in line with the higher cal and mag. My Mag runs about 1450 to 1500 and Cal near 450 to 500. With Alk at 9.2 im good
Now ........are you dosing?

You can do some water change to bring down your mag and cal. Stop dosing too and maybe you can only dose ash soda to maintain your alk.
Also you need to check the levels from your current salt.

I agree with eraser2001. Check your new mixing salt. Very possible mag is high.
Having high MAG would cause the corals to bleach ? Because my soft corals almost seem in affected but it’s the harder corals that are having the hardest time
