I got these 2 nems a couple of days ago from live aquaria the bright green one his his mouth open a tiny bit and the other one came to me in really bad shape I think it was drying when I got it cause it was deflated mouth wide open. Stuff coming out of the mouth there were particles in the shipping bag and when I put that in both nems together they both looked bad but I took them both out of the water and got new water for them they both perked up I am worried because now they are covers in purplish looking slime I need help and what should I do will update with water parameters the last two pics are what they looked like when they came in

They actually look quite healthy. Bubbletips do some strange things that is actually completely normal. Give them time to settle in. They look totally fine.

Yea your parameters are within acceptable range. How old is the tank? Bubbletips always look a little sad when they first arrive from shipping but yours actually wouldn't worry me at all at this point. Just give them some time to settle in.

How long has this aquarium been running?
also, did you just drop them Into new saltwater, or did you acclimate them to your already seasoned aquarium water? Normally, with stressed coral, fish, anemones, and even clean up crews, you need to acclimate them.
also make sure the tank is nice and stable.

Allow them to settle in under moderate light and water flow
Lower white lights for acclimation and slowly bring it up over the weekend

It’s a couple months old and I know you should wait 6 months and I didn’t because they were on sale but I have been doing water changes everyday and watching them closely I just did a 10% water change to get nitrite lowered

They really hate white lights they kinda shrivel up a little I do the white and blue for 10 hours then blue the other 2 and they are at 20 right now

a couple months I know you should wait for 6 but they were on sale and I thought I could take up the challenge I did acclimate them but the one that has a tiny tint of red I only acclimated for 15-30 min because he was shriveled up his mouth was pouring out he didn’t want to stay on his foot he wasent sticky at all I thought for sure he was a goner but I put him on a rock so he wouldn’t blow around and immediately he looked better the next day so I am hoping they both will be okay

but idk if my light is Good for them because I thought it was a Mars aqua l 300w but actually is a mars Hydro and I got it off Amazon they kind of scammed me so I don’t know if it’s too strong but I will start the plain white from now on
