So I've had this three polyp acan for about six months.. My tank was pretty new when I first purchased it.. They were rainbow colored:( as I have learned that under direct light the metal halides I have make them lose their "rainbow color" I have since them put them in some shade.. After not moving them for some time, today I notice these! Are they babies?
Thanks guys!

yes thats how mine started and i went from 2 1/2 heads to about 17 and they were rainbows also.

addition: not all will turn into heads some will help expand the tissue over the substrate its attached to.

yep if you want them to grow faster, healthier, more color feed them fauna marine pellets or some sort of coral pellet.

Nice!!!!!!!!!! After six months of thinking they were acans that "didn't reproduce" I get surprised with these!!
Thanks guys!!
