Are these parasites in my tank ?

I was looking at my duncan coral and found some little critters moving. i pulled it out and placed it in idodine dip. I attached some photos. How could they have gotten in my tank ? I’m fairly new to this i just want to get more info!

Amphipod which is a larger member of the copepod group and free food for fish and coral but may also be a Gammarid
