I have had this rock in storage with light and waterchanges for about 3 years it was in a few different tanks before that I've had it in some sort of system for the past 20 years, but I just recently set it up in a new 120g and I am noticing things coming out..

I'm not sure about these starfish there are several, all very small a few look like they are missing 1-2 -3 arms/foots small white almost grey. The biggest one i took the picture of is almost a tan color but the harder I look the more I see. Should I be snatching them out, it kinda feels like that before I get corals in there.

And also the small snails wich so far they get in the small spaces where the algae hides but not really cool there's allot of them too.
If anyone knows what and where to go next I'd appreciate it, thanks

Hard to tell from the pic Google Collonista snail.

Picture is not helping me....too blue and fuzzy. BUT, it sounds like you're talking about asterna starfish, a small starfish that primarily multiplies by splitting in two. You'll find mixed feeling about them. I've been told that the general rule is if light in color they are reef safe. If very dark, not reef safe. I've had them for years and they don't bother me.

Collanista snails- reef safe and breeds easily. For the asterina- consider ridding of them- They multiply like mice and will take down zoa and other softies. I had one grow to larger than a nickle and ate almost an entire colony of bam bam zoa
