Bad photo but I put this coral in after 5 months fighting zoa eating spiders nudibranches etc who else knows now I waited got this frag and noticed these white things

Then I’m not worried just hope they’re not coral killers
It looks like sand to me, but could be an Aquilonastra/asterina starfish. I’m not convinced the rumors that they eat corals are true (and even they are, the stark white ones are not the ones people claim eat corals). I don’t think that’s what this is though, has it moved at all?

It’s like moving very slowly but I’ve had those little starfish in my old tank never seen them eat coral I liked them tbhv

I like them too, in 20+ years I’ve had them in every tank I’ve ever had (multiple different species/colors) and never had any problems with them. But I’m a big fan of microfauna and hitchhikers, they’re a huge part of what makes a reef tank interesting.
