Are these pistols reef safe?

Came in on some KP Aquatics rock and want to add them to my tank just wanted to be sure no issues adding them to my display.

I’ve never heard of a pistol Shrimp not being reef safe. I vote you get him a goby partner! :)
 
no expert, but why wouldn't they be? don't pistols just scavage and kill the occasional crab/shrimp/snail that gets to close? I have one a pistol in my tank, i see him briefly about once a year.. i hear him most nights.
 
No guns are not safe around aquariums.

jk yea pistol shrimps are nearly blind scavengers, as such they have a symbolic relationship with some gobies and rely on them for protection. Anyways, yes they are reef safe.
