I understand inflation is real but ……
Am I missing something obvious here?

Hey on Black Friday had something in my cart for $6xx.00 they raised the price over $ 100 when I tried to check out to $7xx.00 Customer service said they couldn’t help cuz it was Black Friday, like that makes any sense.

I'm pretty sure it's related to the price of the magnets

Hello, if people did not pay that price, then they would not charge that price. They would use cheaper material and produce the same garbage every one else makes. Capitalism. If you were running a large business you would be doing the same thing. There is no reason to be in business other than to make as large of a profit as possible. You can't say no I would not unless you are in that business and are only charging exactly what is needed to keep your company alive.

I’ve just never bought one. I have about a half dozen in various sizes floating around my home. They all came with used tanks so I’ve never looked at buying one new. It’s also crazy that I can find them on eBay (brand new) for a Fraction of this price so something tells me it’s not all about manufacturing cost.

Been that expensive in the past 5 years. What does this have to do with BRS??? They don't set the price....
It’s a commonly used site for purchasing equipment.

I agree, but brs or the product manufacturer may have a business model that pays their employees a living wage instead of 10.00 per hour.

That’s fair. Again, I was just shocked at the piece. I like to use BRS and feels it’s a standard site for purchasing gear.

Speaking of companies paying $10 and hour.

See? And they are also getting rid of workers using self checkout. I stopped shopping there a while ago. , But again capitalism, they help many poor shoppers afford to live.

BRS follows MAP pricing because it's required by many mfgs to sell their products. There are many sellers on the internet that that do not follow MAP pricing......most will not last long because the mfgs will no longer sell to them once they violate the MAP agreement.
