Are these prices whack for cut list

So I am building a 40b sump. Went into miller glass today to get a quote on a cut list for acrylic baffles. Seems awfully steep to me. I always hear peeps saying they got all their baffles cut for like 40-60$. What do u guys think?


Here's my cut list with pricing - all baffles are 1/4" acrylic
black - 14 X 17 1/4" - $20+tax
Clear - 15 X 17 1/4" - $18+tax
13 X 17 1/4" - $18+tax
12 X 17 1/4" - $16+tax
11 X 17 1/4" - $16+tax

So $88+tax

Ya that's what I was thinking too. Think I'm just gonna get my own sheet and make my own cuts. That way I get to keep the scraps as there are a lot of Lil pieces I need as well. Thanks tigerdragon - he's got the blades.

sounds pretty decent price to me... I have almost 150bucks in just acrylic for my diy 75g sump

I have always went to tap plastics for that type of stuff. the first size I checked (14 X 17 1/4") in Extruded Acrylic Clear says $14.54 if it would be a running trend of ~$5 cheaper on all of them, it might be enough to be worth the trip to Sacramento. if you call them instead of just ordering it online, it might be cheaper. (IDK, it's been a while since I had anything done. It just always seemed the inperson price was cheaper then the online.)
