Hello friends can people who know what these are let me know .
I have been thinking they are some sort of stationary filter feeding worms . They have been in the aquarium for a long time , but I have never given them a second thought until I started viewing other posts here .
If bad can I remove the affected rocks and needle nose plyers them off ? Thx

Hydroids. You can remove the rock and pull them off but I would go a step further and torch them or something else to eliminate any living traces. I've pull them out and any little chunk that's left stuck in the rock can start the process all over again. Unfortunately they never seem to pop up on a rock that's easy to access or remove from the tank.

A small update they seam to be reducing in numbers.
And oddly my blue demsel is pecking at them. I also added a peppermint shrimp to the aquarium , hopefully it will eat them to .
