I would say they are yes. I don’t know how many times I have bought the same corals and a year later been like, wait these are the same!

Rhats whay happend to me, lol seems i have 3 wwc yellow tops now. I got one free from the lfs and 2 off the bargain rack for 20 bucks. The large one was ofd the bargain rack, the smaller one was feee.
I did it recently at a store that has three tanks each with different levels of light and nutrients and got three staghorn pieces I thought were different. A month later they were all purple with green polyps. I just put them into a colony to grow when this happens. When I first started I bought a number of validia and austera/tort that were the same a number of times. Sucks being slightly colorblind to certain close hues.
