Hi,
I have a Goni that is having trouble and there are a few of these around it. I take it they have to be manually removed.

Those are vermetid snails and can irritate coral and it’s best to manually remove them. You can easily just crush them and they’ll die

Could be! They are called “vermetid snails” they apit out some kind of a slime to catch food, but can irritate corals by doing that. I would go for manual removal, however I wouldn’t do it in the tank itself as you are going to introduce a lot of organic waste. In worst case you might even trigger a small cycle.

Killing vermetid snails won’t cause a cycle or introduce a lot of waste. It’s perfectly safe to remove them in the tank.

Thanks for your help, I will get busy and destroy a few each day I think. I’ll remove the Goni and clean it up, then replace.

The way I kill them is by using a hot soldering iron same way I killaptasia too
