are these Vermetid Snails?

I see two, which means there's probably more. Please tell me they're not vermetids. Swirly tubes, looks like Spirorbids but much larger and darker shell instead of white.

If it's a newer frag you might still have time to cut them off or glue over them before they spread
 
Vermatids are on a semi large octospawn frag, about 6" when fully open. I've had this frag for about 3 months and they were not on it when I bought it. Somehow got it my tank.

I'll try to scrape all parts of the snail tube off. I'm afraid frag cutters aren't for precision cutting and might risk damaging the single base of the octospawn.
