yeah i know, i didnt dose anything now beside aminoacid from brightwell. i do weekly water change around 20%

I had a very similar issue with a couple of frags I picked up from colonies a buddy of mine had in his tank. Out of 10 or so two of them did this. I just let them ride since he had healthy colonies and I could replace them if they died altogether. They are doing absolutely fine now a couple months later. The dead tissue is dead but if it survives the healthy tissue will eventually start to grow back onto the skeleton like it does when it grows onto frag plugs.

Are those maricultured colonies or aquaculture?
What are your nitrates?
What are you dosing or exporting with?
How often do you water change and what percentage?
How old is the tank?
I had the same issue with red sea pro and then I switched to red sea blue bucket. the alkalinity is perfect everything is mixed perfect.

i used to dose reef code A & B by brightwell but since i got new test kit from Hanna and see those kind of high so i stop it, i only dose aminoacid now and i do partly 20% water change weekly. I also just switch salt to Aquaforest Sea Salt, might try that new LiveAquaria Salt.
