Are they cocopod?

I have a refugium and theres large amount of little white looking bug crawls all over the place! I never added cocopod for myself so im guessing its from macroalgae. Do i have to feed them? I never fed them and population seems to be growing.

looks like it? do they move? if you look closely you can kinda tell, if they look like little insect critters crawling.

I never target fed my copepods and amphipods and the population in my refugium as grown on it's own.

To answer your question directly. No, you don't have to feed them as long as you feed your fish normally.

ya they are crawling everywhere. Im wondering how they can survive without me feeding them.

detritus, dissolved organics, fish waste, left over food, etc..

not nitrate.
