Are they dead?

Got my first online order in and all my Zoe are looking good and but my lavender acro and rainbow montipora look dead. What are your thoughts?
Should a wait a little longer? Got them Wednesday.

Well do they still have a smell to them? Acros have a certain smell that usually is a clue as to if it has died or not...
Looking at it I would say that it is gone...

yeah the acro certainly looks dead. I can't tell about the monti, but probably. Are those holes where the polyps used to be or does it still have any polyps? If the polyps are gone so is it. Sorry about your bad luck.

Yeah, sorry, it is dead.
It happens. A few months ago I lost some SPS and gave half of my remaining away because I was "through with acros" then I bought a bunch of colorful zoas. After losing some of those I want acros again.

Learn why they died and what went wrong, that way you can keep it from happening again. Make the best out of a bad situation.

Did they look like that when you got them ? ....if so
I'd get back on to who ever you got them from and ask for replacements

Those look like plugs from aquarium depot. I tried corals from them once, once. I used what they refunded me for a clean up crew because I was very unimpressed with how my corals arrived. I learned there is a reason why they are so cheap lol. Follow their DOA procedure and they are very good about giving you store credit though

They looked like that when I got them, and yes I got them from aquarium depot. Just emailed them for my money back. Did not see the reviews until I already put my order in. Live and learn. Never again will I order from them.

Wish I could buy some my self but I live on a little smelly island called the uk lol and everything iv seen and want is in the US

Thanks everyone I really wish they would give back my money because I really wanted those corals, now I'll have to see what they have that will not die on me. :/
