Hello,

Finally decided to try an online purchase. We got what seems to be a healthy cardinal fish, a deresa clam, and a tiny (TINY) sexy shrimp.

We also got a zoanthid colony. We're pretty new to coral care, but we do have two healthy zoa colonies, an acan, and a mushroom.

Are these dead? They are brown and floppy. They look awful. Are they salvagable with a dip? Hydrogen peroxide?

Thank you for your help.

So it's okay if they are flat, brown, and floppy looking?

We will rub them gently and see if anything dramatic happens. I thought they smelled a bit when we got them but I don't know if it was bad enough to warrant concern. It looked like they got tipped over in the bag and were mushed flat, but they didn't perk up after acclimating or adding to the tank.

how long have they been in the tank?

Wait it out.

They are ticked off from Shipping

I have had zoa that didn’t open up for a week after Shipping when others in the same shipment opened up the next day
